Aim GS-Dash Car Racing Dash Display has been designed to show data sampled by the new generation of Aim data loggers, EVO 4S and the Aim EVO 5.
All data coming from your vehicle’s ECU, from the accelerometers, from the GPS module as well as from your custom sensors.
The Aim GS-Dash Car Racing Dash Display features a Compact design 268x128 pixel display to maximise readability. The screen can be backlighted in one of the seven available colours and the incorporated light sensor makes brightness and contrast ideal in all light conditions.
You can see the rolling time, static or predictive lap times
(as an absolute value or as a difference vs. the Best Lap).
Recall your session highlights
A key-data summary is available at the end of each session where you can also see a list of all the laps of the sessions, with their times, min/max speed and min/max RPM's.
Configure your LED’s One by One
Five RGB shift lights can be configured for each gear, choosing LED color and RPM threshold values which will turn it on/off.
Alarms are managed in a very flexible way: you can choose the situation that generates the alarm, the LED behavior (blinking frequency and color) when the alarm appears and the conditions for its switch-off. A warning message can also be shown.

The Aim EVO5 Car Racing Data Logger is the evolution of the traditional datalogger that over the years has become a standard defacto data acquisition system in a huge amount of championships. With its compact aluminum body it can be easily placed in any vehicle.
Its configuration with the new Race Studio 3 software is simple and immediate. The EVO5 features significant improvements such as two multi-channel motorsport connectors which is simple and straightforward and one top quality harness for all your connections. It has a 37 pin connector for main applications like power, CAN, Aim CAN networks and a 22 pin connector for additional functions like CAN2 or digital outputs (Optional Extra).
The internal SD Card permits to record all possible data you may ever need. The card is protected by a waterproof door equipped with a sensor closing all files when you open it, to prevent any data loss possibility. No way to have a faster data downloading: you remove the SD and it is done!
An extra CAN connection has been added in case you wish to get data from other modules you may have installed in your car for example ABS modules and CAN sensors.
The EVO5 samples all the information you need including data coming from your vehicle ECU via CAN, RS232 or K-line also from the internal accelerometers and gyro and the GPS08 module included in the kit.
Data is also sampled from analog/digital inputs, external expansions as well as predefined math channels. Sensors can be connected to 8 configurable analog channels, to the RPM input and to 4 wheel speed inputs.
The ECU connection connects to over 700 different ECU's and features all the possible hardware compatibilities (CAN, RS232 or K-line) in order to guarantee the possibility to receive a huge amount of data from virtually all available ECUs, both in motorsports and in stock installations.
Of course, the unit is completely configurable, in order to offer the maximum flexibility.The GPS05 Module included in the kit is connected to the EVO 5 makes lap time calculation and track position analysis very easy.
Each EVO5 memory stores more than 200 world tracks start/finish line coordinates as soon as it is switched on the GPS05 Module will locate its position, identify track-line coordinates and start immediately sampling lap and split times.
If the track is not included in the database, it is always possible to add the start/finish line coordinates to the EVO5 via PC before going to the track using the Race Studio 3 software.
Data recorded by EVO5 can be downloaded to PC and analysed with the professional Race Studio Analysis software shows graphs, histograms and tables will help you evaluate your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve your driving technique.
Many sensors can be connected to EVO5:
8 analog channels with configurable 12 bit 0-5 Volt, 0-500 mV, 0-50 mV inputs or thermocouple input, used to sample data coming from temperature, pressure, suspension and other kinds of sensors.
4 speed inputs, which allow to monitor the different wheels behavior.
1 RPM input, which manages square wave signals transmitted by the ECU, or pulse signals picked from the coil command (low voltage).
1 built-in inertial platform: an integrated three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor let you have the most powerful system to understand oversteering, understeering, banking, etc.
With the Aim EVO5 Car Racing Data Logger you can configure, calibrate and download your data over a secure 802.11 WiFi connection, even if your car is at 100 meters far from you.
